About Your Gauge

The Gauge Finder <link> will help you identify many of the gauges we have produced over the years. There are many places that you can use to identify your gauge. Using these areas we can help you define what your gauge is even if it is still in the dash of your boat.

Use this handy Gauge Finder information sheet (pdf) to find the areas that we will be looking at for a visual identification.

To begin: If your gauge is out of the dash, look on the side of the case. There should be a white label on it. This label was applied at the factory and has several identifying marks. Most factory part numbers have a alpha-numeric identifier. You can find this number on the label. Depending on the type of gauge you will see different number and letter combinations.

The factory number is usually in this format; XX0000. There is usually a two-digit letter followed by a four-digit number. This can vary and there may be a three-digit letter followed by a three-digit number. Like this; XXX000. If you can find that number, letter combination then you are done. Please note that number down. That is the number that we will be asking for when filling out this Warranty Request form.

If you can not find the label on the side of the case or it can not be read for whatever reason you can still find your gauge's factory number.

This database is based on visual definitions of things you can easily identify. By simply answering a few simple questions we should be able to identify which gauge you are looking for.
